Life down here is traumatic, and it’s more traumatic for some than for others. This, in its own way, is a trauma. Life is profoundly unfair.

But today, I’ve come back home to this little white church where it all started-to understand me a bit better and in turn maybe God.

I wander this world, haunted by the question that comes to everyone one of us if we pause just long enough to listen. What if I went home?
